Week 5 already? How did that happen? Coming up this Saturday on Strictly, we’ve got Rumbas, Jives, Quicksteps and an attempt at…something…by Jeremy Vine. Bless him. Read on for more details!
Ainsley and Natalie are dancing the Jive to Bill Haley and the Comets “Shake Rattle and Roll”: Ainsley is very tall for the jive, but the fun nature of the dance will definitely suit him.
Anita and Gleb are dancing the Tango to Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition”: Gleb. Tango. Anita is one lucky, lucky woman! (She does also dance very well.)
Carol and Pasha are dancing the Viennese Waltz to Seal’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long”: This will be good for Carol since she will be in hold, but will she nail the technicalities of this difficult dance?
Georgia and Giovanni are dancing the Salsa to Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)”: This could be fun. We hope so, anyhow, since this pair are adorable together.
Helen and Aljaz are dancing the Quickstep to Diana Ross and the Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love”: Looking forward to this one already. Aljaz is notorious for choreographing great Quicksteps, and Helen has the ability to dance this well.
Jamelia and Tristan are dancing the Foxtrot to Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”: Really hoping that they keep up the great precedence they set for themselves last week by pulling this off.
Jay and Aliona are dancing the Paso Doble to Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life”: Ah Jay! He really needs to get this one right after last week’s epic fail. We have a feeling he will have been working doubly hard and will pull out all the stops.
Jeremy and Karen are dancing the Waltz to Elvis Costello’s “She”: This could actually be a really good dance for Jeremy. He loves this song, and Costello, and he’s not too bad in the ballroom. Here’s hoping!
Katie and Anton are dancing the Salsa to Michael Buble’s “It Had Better Be Tonight”: A tricky dance for Katie, who belongs in the ballroom. To be fair, we wouldn’t be great at a Salsa either. Far too British.
Kellie and Kevin are dancing the Jive to One Direction’s “One Way Or Another”: This will be good. That’s about all we have to say. We’re almost expecting Kelli to top the leader board with this.
Kirsty and Brendan are dancing the Viennese Waltz to David Gray’s “This Year’s Love”: A great song, a great dance, but will Kirsty manage it?
Peter and Janette are dancing the Rumba to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”: A very difficult dance to pull off unless you fancy your partner like crazy. Still, no doubt Peter will give it a good go.
