The cineplexes will be getting hit soon with films hoping to make a splash during awards season, while others are just here to entertain us.

Two of the films in this piece fall into the latter category while the third will definitely be making some waves for a darling of the film critics.

First up in this trailer round up is Norm of the North, which is an animated film featuring the talents of Rob Schneider as the titular Norm and Bill Nighy, Colm Meaney, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, and Game of Thrones‘ Michael McElhatton. The film tells the story of a bear who travels to New York City in the hope of convincing humans to save his homeland.

The Last Witch Hunter, on the other hand, features the talents of Vin Diesel. The film tells the tale of an immortal warrior named Kaulder, who is called upon to help protect New York City when a powerful witch queen is set on releasing a deadly plague. A good witch (Rose Leslie), whose talent lies in dream walking, meaning that she can transport people between the real world and a dream world, helps him in his journey. Elijah Wood and Michael Caine, who are both no strangers to this genre of film, are also featured in the movie.

About Ray takes audiences in another direction with its tone. How the family of transgender teen Ray (Elle Fanning) deals with his transition from female to male takes center stage in this drama from director Gaby Dellal. Ray’s family struggles quite a bit considering the challenges faced by transgender men and women, which as a community are hard enough as is without society giving the community a hard time.

About Ray hits theaters Sept. 18, while Norm of the North will make its debut on January 15, 2016, and The Last Witch Hunter will premiere right before Halloween on October 23, 2015.
