By now, I’m sure you have all watched Ant-Man and already processed everything that happened there, but just in case you haven’t watched it yet: spoiler warning! The following includes spoilers about some key events in Ant-Man.

Alright, let’s get to it.

One of the biggest revelations came on the mid-credits scene where Hank Pym showed his daughter, Hope Van Dyne, the new and improved Wasp suit. This, along with Kevin Feige stating that the Wasp will be part of Phase Three, has us wondering: will Evangeline Lilly take on the suit? Or will Hank Pym bring back the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne?

It all points to Evangeline suiting up as the Wasp. Yes!

During a Q&A session on Facebook, Evangeline confirmed she has been fitted already.

“I was scanned for #TheWasp suit, but then I got pregnant. Let’s hope I fit it again! #ineedtime!”, Evangeline shared.

The Wasp is happening! And even better, it’s happening with Evangeline Lilly!

The Wasp is a pretty badass super-heroine, with the ability to alter her size, either shrinking or growing several hundred feet, has increased strength, can augment her body’s natural bio-electric energy and, of course, at miniature size she grows a pair of translucent insect wings from her back. In addition to that, she is also an experienced leader and strategist.

As you can see, she can take on any villain or even a rebel Avenger who dares to mess with her. Speaking of that, Evangeline was also asked who she would love to see the Wasp fighting against.

“I would love to see Wasp fight The Incredible Hulk. I think she would just roll her eyes at his temper and fly circles around him until he was exasperated. Haha!”

She added: “I would love to work with #MarkRuffalo. I think it would be fun to see the interchange between [Paul Rudd] and my tiny character and him”.

Um, yes please! I strongly believe she can fight any character from the MCU anytime, including the Hulk (although not exactly by flying around until he gets annoyed). Besides, it’s about time we get more badass super-ladies on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We still have to wait a few years to see Evangeline in full Wasp action, but while we wait, we can have some fun imagining in which movie she will make her superhero debut and which characters she will fight against!
