If you thought Sunday at San Diego Comic Con was the time to finally slow down and relax, you’re missing out. You should be spending your Sunday at Nerd HQ. The four day event didn’t let up on the final day, brining out an incredible line up of shows and stars. Before the likes of Nathan Fillion, Joss Whedon, and the Supernatural cast took to the stage, Thrilling Adventure Hour got things started off right.
Moderated by a very hung over but still hilarious Aisha Tyler, the cast and writers from the witty radio show got the audience laughing right off the bat.
Talking about the video games also available to play at Nerd HQ, Mark Gagliardi told everyone how Arden Myrin transformed into an action star before their eyes.
At first she was struggling with the game but then “within 30 seconds she’s like boom! Grab a clip! She’s like Jason Bourne!”
Joining regular players Gagliardi, Hal Lublin, Aaron Ginsburg were guest players Myrin and Amy Acker.
The latter confessed she joined the Conversation with an ulterior motive.
“This is like my excuse because I was only in a few episodes of this show but I really wanted to come to a panel at Nerd HQ,” she said, before being interrupted by the cheers of fans who were so happy she’d made that exact choice.
Missing from the Conversation was one of the stars of the show, Marc Evan Jackson. But it was perhaps because Jackson was absent that writer Ben Blacker felt at liberty to express his true feelings about the actor. “Marc Evan Jackson is perfect,” he said. Cue the awwwwws from the crowd!
