There’s been more casting news for Ryan Murphy’s newest series American Crime Story as Dallas alum and Fast and Furious 7 cast member Jordana Brewster signs up for the series.

According to TV Line Brewster will play; “Denise Brown, the sister of Simpsons’ wife – and the victim in questions – Nicole Brown, a role still to be cast.” American Crime Story is set to air on FX, the same channel as its companion series, the hugely popular American Horror Story which is going into its fifth series with American Horror Story: Hotel.

Brewster is the latest actor added to the cast as it was previously announced that Cuba Gooding Jr, John Travolta, David Schwimmer, Courtney B.Vance, Sarah Paulson and Connie Britton are all signed onto the first season of Murphy’s new series, entitled American Crime Story: The People v. O.J.Simpson.

I am one of those people who only just got into AHS during its fourth season Freak Show and I know that some people believe that it was the weakest season in the anthology, I personally loved it and it encouraged me to go back and watch the previous series’ and I have become obsessed with this season. American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson appeals to me too as a fan because I love a good crime series, I mean I LOVE crime series be them books or television series I am there!

What also excites me about this is the overall casting of the series, especially the castings of AHS alums like Connie Britton and Sarah Paulson who are both favourites of mine from the AHS universe, so it really excites me that these actors are helping to bring Ryan Murphy’s new series to life. Add in the help of the other cast members including Jordana Brewster who I haven’t seen in anything yet but I am optimistic that she will be brilliant in this new series.
