One of the greatest things about Captain America: Civil War and its huge cast is that we won’t have to wait until 2018 to meet T’Challa, aka Black Panther.

Civil War will introduce us to Wakanda’s ruler before his solo movie comes out. I am quite curious to see how he is going to be introduced, mainly because Civil War will be one huge battle. We know absolutely nothing about his deal with the rest of the MCU and the war that approaches, but a rumour has emerged and, I must warn you, it’s packed with feels.

According to Heroic Hollywood, Black Panther will be hunting none other than the Winter Soldier aka Bucky Barnes. Let us not forget that the Winter Soldier has committed a lot of murders, including that of Tony Stark’s parents. As the movies are not charcoal copies of the comics, it could be possible that Black Panther is searching for the murderer of his father, aka the Winter Soldier.

I told you there were feels involved.

In comicverse, T’Challa’s father, T’Chaka, is murdered by Ulysses Klaw in an attempt to seize the vibranium mound. With the people of Wakanda in danger, T’Challa used Klaw’s sound weapon on him and shattered his right hand.

Now, remember how Ultron was in charge of shattering Klaw’s arm in Age of Ultron? Details like these change on the jump to the big screen, so don’t leave out the above Winter Soldier theory yet.

On the other hand, the motive could be simpler. As the folks at Comicbook.com point out, the Winter Soldier may need repairs on his prosthetic metal arm and so trespasses into Wakanda. There’s a chance of his arm being made out of vibranium, so this theory is not crazy at all. Also, Wakanda is a nation of scientific advancement, so the Winter Soldier could have paid a visit to learn some stuff.

Just one thing: if it turns out that the Winter Soldier killed T’Challa’s father, then this movie will definitely be the end of me. The Bucky/Winter Soldier feels are very much alive in me, guys.

Captain America: Civil War is currently shooting in Atlanta, and while we are still waiting for a first look at Black Panther and Bucky, a few days ago an Instagram video came out where we can see two stuntmen rehearsing a fight scene. Judging by the surroundings and the fight move, we all concluded that it could be a look at a Black Panther fight. Better than nothing, right?!

Civil War will be out on May 6, 2016.

I know you have your ideas on this Black Panther/Winter Soldier matter; share them!
