A lot of good stuff comes out from press tours: fun interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, details about upcoming projects, etc.

Although Avengers: Age of Ultron is already out for UK fans to watch (so jealous yet happy for all of you!), promo tour is not over yet, which means we can still get information on future MCU projects.

As part of Age of Ultron‘s promo tour, Elizabeth Olsen and Joss Whedon attended a Meet the Filmmakers event at London’s Apple Store where Elizabeth answered some questions about her character Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch.

The next big MCU event is, without a doubt, Captain America: Civil War, the big battle between Captain America and Iron Man over the Superhuman Registration Act. The rest of the superheroes take sides. In the comics, Quicksilver joined Captain America’s Anti-Registration team and Scarlet Witch…well, she was out of the Marvel Universe when this story come out.

Whether we like it or not, the MCU works very differently from comicverse, which means that a lot of characters and situations that happened in the comics might not necessarily be part of the movie. That said, it would be nice to see more of Scarlet Witch, especially in such a big event as Civil War, don’t you think?

Well, it seems like it will happen!

Elizabeth was asked if she will reprise her role for the big superhero crossover, to which she responded affirmatively by saying “I guess I’m allowed to talk about now.”

She also revealed she begins shooting in two weeks time in Atlanta.

Marvel hasn’t made an official announcement on this yet. If Olsen is indeed coming back as Scarlet Witch, then it will be just a matter of days until we hear it from them. After all, the movie starts shooting very soon!

This revelation just makes me want to jump either to a plane or the TARDIS so I can watch Age of Ultron already! I am dying to see what’s going to happen with all of them and how it will set the ground for Scarlet Witch’s MCU future.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in the US on May 1st. Captain America: Civil War will start shooting in a few weeks for a May 6, 2016 release.
