The End Of An Era: Glee Filming Wraps For The Final Time

It’s the moment all Gleeks had been dreading: the series wrap for Glee. After six years, the all singing, all dancing show that launched a thousand ships has finally come to an end. While we still have four episodes left to air (March 20 finale is a double bill), the cast and crew filmed their final scenes yesterday (February 21st). There were tears, there were laughs, there was a carnival, and there were tweets and instagrams galore.

It seems as though cast, crew and fans alike all felt the same. Not one of us could have perceived how hard it was going to be to say goodbye. One by one the tweets and pictures from those on set started coming in, and piece by piece our Glee hearts broke.

Here are a just a few of the tweets from our beloved cast members. Grab the ice cream and tissues, Gleeks, you’re going to need both.

And most heartbreakingly of all…

Anyone for a group hug? Goodbye, Glee, we will miss you.
