Logo TV and the RuPaul’s Drag Race twitter account released the premiere date today after many teasers across social media. It does unfortunately mean we still have over a month to wait, however at least we’ve all been put out of our misery now and have a date to count down to.

There has been a slight change around to the judges this year as long serving judge Santino Rice will unfortunately no longer be a permanent face on the panel. But do not fear Santino fans, he will still make guest appearances. In his place will now be not one, but two new permanent judges, Carson Kressley (known for presenting Queer Eye, and How To Look Good Naked in the US), and Ross Mathews, another television personality who has already made guest appearances on the show. Newnownext.com reported that when asked about the new judges, RuPaul said that they “are the perfect addition to the RuPaul’s Drag Race family because they’re not just showbiz experts, they’re superfans and longtime lovers of the art of drag.”

Just like every past season, season 7 has special celebrity guest judges appearing on each episode, and it’s already been confirmed that we can expect to see the likes of Olivia Newton-John, Jessica Alba, Kat Dennings, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Mel B to name just a few. Those familiar with the show may also be pleased to know that along with Santino Rice coming back for appearances, Merle Ginsberg who was a judge on the first two seasons will be making a comeback, as well as RuPaul’s music producer Lucian Piane.

So get ready to sissy that walk, and start those engines on Monday 2nd March at 9pm on Logo TV. And if you haven’t seen it already, American viewers can watch a preview of the new season here.
