Of course Marvel couldn’t just release the trailer and relax!

After this week’s madness with the leak of the trailer and then Marvel releasing the official poster and the trailer in the quality we all deserve, a part of the fandom thought that was it and Marvel would sit back and relax while watching us go mad.

Well, wrong: Marvel will still release some Age of Ultron goodies during next week’s episode of Agents of SHIELD. It will be better than a trailer and a poster: an actual exclusive piece from the film. What?! Yes!

“In just 24 hours, the first Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer racked up an astonishing 34.3 million global views, smashing the previous record by over 20 million views in the same time period. What film held the previous record? Why, Marvel’s Iron Man 3, of course. Only Tony Stark can outdo Tony Stark. […] And because we believe that the best way to say thanks is to give you more, we’re delivering new Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron action to your TV sets, two weeks in a row! Tune in to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD this Tuesday, October 28 at 9:00 pm ET on ABC to see an exclusive piece from Marvel’s Age of Ultron. Then, on Tuesday, November 4 at 9:00 pm ET on ABC, tune into Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop! For another taste of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron – and much more!” Ryan Penagos, our very dear AgentM on twitter, wrote on Marvel.com.

Only after that will Marvel sit back and relax while they watch the fandom scream, sob and overanalyse every single frame of the goodies.

Maybe I am reading too much between the lines, but for the anniversary special, he didn’t actually say “an exclusive piece from…”

So, could this mean we could be getting the almost mythological SDCC trailer?

If you listen closely, you can hear our Editor in Chief shrieking (she was one of the lucky ones to watch the SDCC material!).

Whatever that “taste” of Age of Ultron is, we will watch it, rewatch it, share it with you, and then rewatch it again.

Do not miss next week’s Agents of SHIELD and the anniversary special the following week. I strongly recommend you mark your calendars!

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on May 1st. Have you started your countdown already?
