One Direction have premiered their new music video for single “Steal My Girl”, kicking off what’s sure to be yet another era of huge success with their fourth album.
Clocking in at just over five minutes, the clip features a guest spot by Danny DeVito as the band’s director, as well as sumo wrestlers, a marching band, ballerinas, and a chimp. Don’t believe me? Check out the weird and wonderfulness for yourself right here:
DeVito tells the boys to destroy their inhibitions to allow them to create, and tells Harry Styles to embrace love, Niall Horan light, Liam Payne power, Louis Tomlinson danger, and Zayn Malik mystery – all of which actually relate very well to the individual if you think about it!
Don’t tell DeVito, but the video was actually directed by Ben and Gabe Turner, and produced by Ben Winston, who has worked with the band previously on the video for “Best Song Ever”, and the “This Is Us” and “Where We Are” movies.
Its a crazy video for a fun catchy song – I don’t know what else you could want from a boy band?!
“Steal My Girl” is the first song to be released from One Direction’s upcoming fourth studio album, Four, which you can preorder now!
