There is more exciting casting news for the movie adaption of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! Game of Thrones fans, two Lannisters have signed on to star in the film.

Charles Dance and Lena Headey have joined the cast that already includes Lily James, Bella Heathcote, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, and Suki Waterhouse.

It hasn’t been said what parts they are going to play yet, but we can speculate. The Bennett’s parents have yet to be cast, so that is always a possibility, but whatever roles they play I am excited about it either way.

Every time a new person is announced to be in this film I get even more hopeful for the movie. I didn’t really think it could get much better after the announcement of Matt Smith, but I was wrong.

The movie will offer a look at Elizabeth Bennent’s journey for love as well as independence like Austen’s novel portrays but with an added kick—zombies! The Bennett girls do not just sit around sewing and gossiping; they go out and kill the undead. Austen and Zombies. Who can’t get excited about that?

As a fan of both the original Pride and Prejudice and Grahame-Smith’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies I couldn’t be more excited for this adaptation. I love Austen and I love pretty much anything with zombies, so combining the two just makes everything that much better – and so far the cast is looking great. Though, I admit, I laughed a bit when I saw that Matt Smith was going to be playing Mr. Collins, but Jack Huston as Mr. Wickham and Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy? Sign me up.

The movie, directed by Burr Steers, will be produced by Natalie Portman, Marc Butan, Sean McKittrick, Brian Oliver, Annette Savitch, Allison Shearmur, and Tyler Thompson.

I can’t wait to see what is in store for this movie as more people get cast and the filming starts. The movie is supposed to come out sometime in 2015, so we have plenty of time for more awesome news.
