With the season premiere of Once Upon A Time’s fourth season, and the highly-anticipated debut of the Frozen characters now just mere weeks away, details are coming thick and fast regarding what we should be excited for in Storybrooke!
EW have revealed that the main storyline for Elsa will be similar to the original Disney film, which was controlling her dangerous, icy powers. The shipwreck that killed the King and Queen- Elsa and Anna’s parents- in the film was supposedly on course to an unknown destination that could help Elsa with this, and Anna will apparently plan to finish this journey, against her elder sister’s wishes. Could this have something to do with Elizabeth Mitchell’s mysterious Frozen role? My bet is yes, but only time will tell.
As well as this, Georgina Haig’s Elsa is set to defend herself from the Maine town’s residents (who so far don’t seem to like her much if the promo is anything to go by) with a powerful snow monster, as seen in the Disney blockbuster film. I, for one, am excited to see how and what Anthony Horowitz and Edward Kitis plan to do with this!
Although appropriately named ‘A Tale Of Two Sisters’, the original OUAT residents will also feature in the season four opener, with other storylines including Regina’s struggle now Robin Hood’s wife Marian is back, leading to the return of the Magic Mirror, as well as relationship drama for Hook and Emma, and Gold and Belle at odds over, you guessed it, the Dark One dagger.
We have all this to look forward to and more when Once Upon A Time returns September 28 on ABC.
