I love Looking. Like, I watched every episode in one day type of love. So it is safe to say that I am eagerly anticipating the next season and all the drama that will come along with it.

TV Line has reported that the two new additions to the show will play love interests for two different characters of the original cast, but they do not specify who – for obvious spoiler reasons.

The first new character is Brady who will be played by Chris Perfetti (Crossbones). Brady, according to TV Line is, “an opinionated San Franciscan who writes for the weekly paper when he’s not busy managing its classifieds.” It has been confirmed that he will be romancing a series regular who has not been named. Let the speculation begin.

The second character is Malik, “an activist-type who is working his way up in the San Francisco mayor’s office.” He will be played by Bashir Salahuddin – a former personality on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Much like Perfetti’s character, Salahuddin will be cosying up to an unnamed series regular.

The two new additions to Looking follow in the footsteps of Daniel Franzese of former Mean Girls fame (IT’S DAMIAN GUYS) who was previously announced to join the team as another love interest.

The love will certainly be flowing in the sophomore season of HBO’s Looking. Do you think any of these new cast members will catch the eye of Mr. Jonathan Groff or will they be drawn to the other characters? Let us know your theories!
