Grunberg and Abrams are childhood friends who have worked together in many occasions, most notably on the TV series Felicity, Lost and Alias. We can currently see him as Gene Moretti in Showtime’s Masters of Sex.
Another recent casting announcement was Game of Thrones actor Miltos Yerolemou.
Grunberg and Yerolemou will be joining Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie, John Boyega, Max von Sydow and Daisy Ridley. Also part of the cast are the original Star Wars actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew.
So much yes with this cast! I get all excited just by imagining all of them in action. Now, if only JJ Abrams would share some plot details with us.
What we know so far, is that Episode VII is set about thirty years after Return of the Jedi and the demise of the greatest sith of all, Darth Vader. The story will centre around a trio of young leads and some classic characters.
Star Wars Episode VII will be released on December 18th, 2015.
