Much to the world’s delight, their Royal Highnesses Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have announced they are expecting their second child together!

As with her first pregnancy, Clarence House have revealed Kate Middleton is once again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a rare and extreme version of morning sickness that results in severe dehydration and malnutrition. The Duchess is currently being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace, and as a result will no longer accompany her husband to the opening of a £21m China study centre in Oxford today.
The Queen and both families are said to be “delighted” at the wonderful pregnancy news, and the country’s Prime Minister David Cameron has stated, “Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I’m delighted by the happy news that they’re expecting another baby.” Other political leaders Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband have also expressed their joy at the announcement, as have Royalists such as myself across the world.
Following their marriage in April 2011, Kate Middleton gave birth to the couple’s son Prince George on Monday 22 July 2013, and many people have been expecting this news for quite some time. I, for one, am thrilled, and offer many congratulations to the expecting parents, as well as soon-to-be-big-brother Prince George, from everyone here at 4YE!
