If Zachary Levi is the King of Nerd HQ, Nathan Fillion is the Prince. The Castle actor spent a good chunk of his time in San Diego at Levi’s four-day charity event taking pictures with fans, moderating panels, and doing two of his own Conversations for a Cause, including one on the Sunday afternoon (July 27).
Always one of the most popular panels, Fillion added some extra fun to his second Nerd HQ session by bringing along Alan Tudyk and a bag of “crap.” For the next hour, the two Firefly stars auctioned off goodies from the bag, including limited edition signed posters, engraved smart watches, and more to raise additional funds for Operation Smile. All the while, they answered fan questions and generally made us all miss Firefly just a little more.
