Benedict Cumberbatch is set to make his debut as the Prince of Denmark on August 5, 2015. The official opening night of Lyndsey Turner’s Hamlet will be on August 25, with a limited 12 week run which will conclude on October 31.

Performances will take place from Monday to Saturday at 7:15 and Saturday matinees at 1:30. Tickets are priced between £30 and £62.50, plus a limited number of Premium Seats available.

Can’t afford it? Methinks the lady doth protest too much; 100 seats for each performance will be on sale for just £10 each, and these will be positioned around the theatre.

Priority booking has already opened for Barbican Red members, with tickets for Barbican Orange members going on sale on Monday, August 4. Peasants Public sale will begin on Monday, August 11 at 10am.

More casting details will be revealed at a later date but it’s bound to be an amazing opportunity for those lucky enough to catch the swoon-worthy Cumberbatch pondering the age old “To be or not to be.”

Will I get tickets? That is the question.
