Keanu Reeves has joined the cast of The Whole Truth, replacing Daniel Craig who quit the project back in April.
The actor, who is 49, will play a defence attorney for a teenager who is accused of murdering his wealthy parents. Renée Zellweger, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Gabriel Basso are also on the cast list for the courtroom drama, which will be directed by Courtney Hunt (Frozen River).
It will be good to see Reeves back on the big screen once more, it feels as if he has been absent for far too long, and can we just pause a minute and take in that he is 49?! I mean, I know that when you stop and think about it that would be realistic, obviously, given that he was at the peak of his fame around the late eighties/ early nineties but boy, time sure does fly.
Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure was 25 years ago! It must be time for a threequel, surely? It is said to be in development, but that is all we know for now. Most Excellent.
