I have a bone to pick with Mother Nature. I have a great summer wardrobe that I’m dying to show off. It seems, however, every time we get a hint of summer, winter/spring comes rushing back in. That being said today I opted for layers.
It was a rainy, blustery day and I had a lunch meeting at work. I factored in having to the brave the elements into my wardrobe. I’m pretty happy I did.
I opted for my AE Skinnys and paired them with a black cami and a leopard print cardi from LOFT. I have to say that that animal print is usually not my thing, but I’m working on expanding my palate.
Since it was dreary out I knew I needed to add some color to my ensemble so I chose a pair of red patent leather peep toe kitten heels. I finished the look with a gray ruffled Cynthia Rowley trench I picked up at TJ Maxx.
Hopefully next week the sun will be out and I can start wearing some of my sun dresses!
