It seems like we have been waiting forever for the release date of the Benedict Cumberbatch led biopic movie The Imitation Game. Well it looks like the wait is finally over.

Studio Canal announced that the movie based on the life of British WWII mathematician Alan Turing will be released just in time to be considered for the 2015 awards season.

The Imitation Game,
which also stars Keira Knightley, Mark Strong and Downton Abbey‘s Allan Leech, will be released in UK cinemas on November 14. The movie will open in the US on November 21.

I, for one, can’t wait to see this movie. It will no doubt be a tear jerker when one discovers the sad story behind the man who was instrumental in breaking the Enigma code. In fact if it were not for the work of Alan Turing, the world would have been a very different place, and I am very pleased that the world will learn more about this wonderfully eccentric man,
