He won’t need those fangs anymore!
According to E! News, Teen Wolf fan favourite Daniel Sharman will be joining CW drama The Originals for its sophomore season.
Making his debut in the season two premiere, Sharman will reportedly take on the role of Kaleb, who will play a major part in the show as a new witch in the French Quarter. Described as handsome and charming, Kaleb will be “intent on wreaking havoc, wooing women and causing as much chaos as possible”. The character will come from a horrendous family background, which he will try to mask with a quick wit and a quick temper. Sounds like he’ll fit right in with the Mikaelson clan!
Sharman will be reuniting with 2011 film Immortals co-star Joseph Morgan, who plays main character Klaus, and also originates from Morgan’s hometown of London. He is additionally known for his work on The Last Days of Edgar Harding, UK series Inspector Lewis, and TV movie When Calls the Heart.
Fans of Sharman as Isaac on Teen Wolf, however, should not panic! Showrunner Jeff Davis said, “He specifically asked that we not kill off Isaac, so that he could have the chance to return. He said he loved the role so much that he wanted to be able to come back if there was a chance. But he was at a position where he wanted to stretch his creative wings and I said to him, ‘Well, if we can’t convince you to come back, we’ll definitely leave the door open for you’”.
