Natalia Tena is set to star in a new sci-fi drama called The Refugees, which is a co-produced production by BBC Worldwide and Atresmedia.
Tena is best known for her roles as wildling Osha in Game of Thrones and Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter series. She is also the lead singer in one of my favourite bands Molotov Jukebox.
According to bbc.co.uk,”The series will begin filming this summer before premiering on laSexta in Spain in the autumn. BBC Worldwide will act as co-producer, commissioner for international channels, and global distributor. The director and remaining cast will be announced in due course; Tom Grieves (Law and Order UK, Being Human) is currently acting as script consultant on the series.”
The series is set to show “the impact on a small rural community after millions of refugees from the future back in time to seek shelter in the present.”
I personally can’t wait to see Natalia in this as not only does the concept of the series sound intriguing, but to see her in a leading role.
