
Katie McGrath is the latest name to be added to the cast of Jurassic World, the newest instalment to the Jurassic Park series.
McGrath, who is best known for her role as Morgana Le Fay in the hugely popular BBC series Merlin, is set to star alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the film which will be directed by Colin Trevorrow with Steven Spielberg expected to fill the executive producer role.
Judy Greer and Lauren Lapkus were also announced to be apart of the film, though details about their characters have yet to be revealed. Other actors who will be among the cast are Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio and BD Wong.
No official details about the plot have been announced but Palaeontologist and “Dino-consultant” for the series, Jack Horner eased a “scary, new Dinosaur” that will be in Jurassic World. Horner said, “I can’t actually tell you who that will be…But you’ll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie.”
Jurassic World is set for release on June 12th, 2015.
