There’s not an Elsa dress to be found, and maybe that’s because Idina Menzel is hoarding them all. The Broadway star has admitted she’s far from ready to let it go- in fact, she has her sights set on bagging the leading role in Frozen when it transfers to the stage.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan at the Women of Power luncheon, Menzel was asked if she would ever want to play Elsa on Broadway. The actress answered with a resounding “Yes! Sure! Absolutely!” And my heart sighed happily as I cranked up the volume on the soundtrack once more.

“It’s a huge compliment,” Idina said of the success of the film. “It was such a dream of mine to be a part of the Disney family and become an animated queen.”

Disney Theatrical Productions have already confirmed that a Broadway version of Frozen is in the works, but also added that they want to take their time to make it completely perfect. Last week, Kristen Bell told Entertainment Weekly that she would definitely be interested in reprising her role on the stage, so all we need now is Jon Groff, Santino Fontana and Josh Gad on board!
