Gleeks! We have a super busy couple of weeks ahead of us!

Next week Rachel (Lea Michele) will be taking the stage for her “Opening Night.” Song spoilers for this episode have scant, but finally, we have some good news. The track listing for the episode’s titular extended play has been released.

The only performance we know for sure is Rachel’s cover of “I’m the Greatest Star” from Funny Girl. We also have heard rumor that Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) will have a duet in the upcoming episode.

The other songs that will be performed in “Opening Night” is as follows:

“Lovefool” by The Cardigans

“N.Y.C.” from Annie

“Who Are You Now?” from Funny Girl

“Pumpin’ Blood” by NONONO

Ah. This is what makes Glee well Glee. A mix of 80’s nostalgia, Broadway, and an artist that people have vaguely heard of but don’t really know. All the songs sound good themselves. Hopefully, the covers will (as almost always) be amazing.

But wait! There’s more!

GleekOutBrasil will not be left out of the fun. They have released two song spoilers one for 5×19’s “Old Dog, New Tricks” and the other for the season finale in 5×20.

The first spoiler is for Warren Zevon’s classic song, “Werewolves of London” in “Old Dog, New Tricks” which will be performed by Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) and Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale).

God I haven’t even see the Chris Colfer penned episode, but with the summary release and this song it sounds even better. The writers have power over the song choices. So really I feel like I have to applaud Chris Colfer’s musical taste here. I love Warren Zevon.

The first song spoiler for the season five finale is “Glitter in the Air” by P!nk which will be sung by Miss Rachel Berry.

Um…is it weird to say that I always saw Kurt (Chris Colfer) singing this song? I’m sure Lea Michele will do it justice. I feel like this is one of those wait and see moments for me. I reserve the right to judge until my recap.

Whew! That was a lot to throw at you. Are you excited? Nervous? Who do you think will be singing the songs for “Opening Night”?
