It looks like some of our childhood favorite TV shows are coming back soon!

Cartoon Network has just announced its new and exciting programming plans for the upcoming season, including its own mini-series for the first time ever.

Our childhood classics will be revived; the iconic cartoon cat and mouse, Tom and Jerry, our favorite rabbit Bugs Bunny, and the show with the comedic adventurous mystery-solving crew, Scooby-Doo, are all being refreshed and revamped.

Over The Garden Wall, the programming outlet’s own “first event mini-series”, is a story about two brothers trapped in a mysterious world. Some of the cast members that will be the voices of this series include Elijah Wood, Collin Dean, and Melanie Lynskey.

There’s more exciting news, particularly for us smartphone and tablet users. Cartoon Network will be expanding its service to mobile devices, so that subscribers will soon be able to watch TV shows on their tablets and smartphones. This way, viewers will have more flexibility in viewing what they want however they want.

Some other TV shows to also keep your eyes open for are Sonic Boom; Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends go on an action-packed adventure, We Bare Bears; three bear siblings trying to fit and take into human society, and Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu; a show that is based on the center of the lives of four ninjas.

So how soon is “soon” for all of this to happen, exactly? The reboots of our childhood favorite shows will come as early as next month, and the rest is yet to be announced. How excited are you?

Stay tooned for future dates!
