Not only will pop-beauty Rita Ora star in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” film adaptation, but she will also be contributing her musical talents as it has been confirmed that she is recording a song for the film’s soundtrack!
The ‘R.I.P’ and ‘How We Do’ hitmaker will play the role of Mia Grey in the movie, which is set to release on Valentine’s Weekend 2015.
Speaking to Metro about the song that will be used for the soundtrack, Ora said, “There is such a different vision for the movie to my own music, so there is a specific kind of vision for that soundtrack.”
That’s not the only new music we can expect from the star as she announced at the Brit Awards that her next single, ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ will premiere this weekend! When asked about what to expect from the new track, she commented, “It’s music to make you happy. It’s a good groove, because I am honestly in a happy place right now.” We’re guessing she’s referring to the relationship between her and hunky-DJ Calvin Harris! Who wouldn’t be recording happy-themed music if you had that to go home to?
Speaking of her boyfriend, Calvin actually produced the single which will also be used for Rimmel’s upcoming campaign. He is also expected to be working with her on her next album, which is due to release later this year.
Ora said, “The Rimmel campaign comes out and I have my new single on the campaign – it’s basically time to blast you guys from all angles with my music.”
