NBC To Add Another Awards Show To The Roster With The iHeartRadio Music Awards

 

Award ceremonies are the highlight of the year for music, fashion and entertainment lovers! We’re always promised crazy red-carpet looks, exclusive interviews with all of your favourite acts, a couple of awkward acceptance speeches and always a sprinkle of controversy. Well, now we get another night of that madness to add to our calendars as NBC have announced plans to launch an iHeartRadio Music Awards.

And that’s not the only cool news, it is also being said that Ryan Seacrest will be a hands-on executive producer for the first ever ceremony. It was reported that he would also be hosting the show, but due to his American Idol schedule, that doesn’t look promising. But still, we love Ryan and we’re positive he will do a tremendous job behind the scenes.

There has been no word on what awards will be up for grabs or who will be performing, but you can be sure you’ll find them here as soon as we know. The ceremony is set to air live on Thursday, May 1, which is 17 days before the Billboard Awards on NBC.
