Jack Thorne, creator of The Fades, has been asked by Warner Bros to write a Sandman movie following treatment from David S. Goyer!

The Dark Knight Rises star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also said to be involved as producer and director of the comic book adaptation. Joseph recently spoke about why he wanted to get involved in the project. He said, “I love just the basic concept of it – just the concept of personifying Dream, along with all of his brothers and sisters, the seven Endless personifying Death, personifying Destruction and Delirium and Destiny and Desire and Despair.”

The graphic novel series which was created by Neil Gaiman with artwork by Dave McKean, is about the lord of Dreams, Morpheus, and his struggles to protect his kingdom from external threats and to deal with his own personal failures.

Speaking about his adaptation of Let The Right One In which will transfer to the newly re-opening  London’s Apollo Theatre, Thorne said, “I like the fact that this is a story that’s going to be told again and again and again, because it’s one of those stories that reworks a central myth.”

Let The Right One In will run from March 26-September 27 at Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London.
