Benedict Cumberbatch Gets Counting With His New Sesame Street Pals

If I were an actor I’m pretty sure I would feel like I have made it in the industry if I ever got to be on Sesame Street. It is one of the shows that I think we all watch as children – I mean, who doesn’t know Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Count Dracula.

Well  this week one more actor can cross appearing on Sesame Street off their bucket list, and that celebrity is none other than Benedict Cumberbatch.

Following fellow Brit and friend, Tom Hiddleston, Cumberbatch appeared with Count Von Count and Murray..sorry, no Murray-arty to figure out if there were more apples or oranges on the table. Methinks someone is a Sherlockian.

In a really adorable exchange between Cumberbatch and Murray-arty poor Ben has to break the news that he isn’t actually Sherlock Holmes – the world famous detective. Murray-arty doesn’t quite understand and continues to call him Benedict Sherlock.

Count Von Count, one of my favourite characters, comes to help Cumberbatch count out the fruit.

The entire clip is everything you have ever wanted from that “one smart man.”

Watch the entire clip below and do try and not melt with feels.
